Sir Simon and Lady Robey very kindly let the Halesworth Community Nursing Care Fund organise an open day at their wonderful garden at Bramfield Hall on the Sunday the 1st July, in aid of the Fund. It was a wonderful day, the weather was terrific, there were cakes galore, strawberries and ice cream and Ali’s band played. Around 380 people came and from all over the area. Many said how much they enjoyed it and when were we doing it again!
We raised £2,584.31 after expenses, so thank you to everyone who came and contributed.
The day could not have happened without Mark and Dianne Bond’s help as well as their families. We send our heartfelt thanks to them for giving up their valuable time and making the day so special. Our thanks also go to Sir Simon and Lady Robey for giving up their privacy and for their support in providing the refreshments and ice cream. Many thanks to all the helpers too who helped police the car park, took gate money, manned the refreshment stalls and carted table chairs etc. Above all, all the helpers and the public had a great time enjoying the beautiful surroundings and facilities that Bramfield Hall provides.
